Terms of Service
Effective 11 July 2026 · By creating an account or using OllaVPN, you agree to these terms.
OllaVPN is a privacy VPN. These terms keep the service safe and usable for everyone. We have tried to keep them short and readable.
1. Who can use OllaVPN
You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding agreement. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
2. The service
OllaVPN provides an encrypted VPN tunnel. The free tier includes a lifetime free plan with a per-connection speed cap and one registered device, subject to the fair-use limits below. A paid tier offers a faster connection and more devices. We may add, change, or retire features, locations, and capacity as we operate and improve the network.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use OllaVPN to:
- Break the law in your jurisdiction or the jurisdiction you are connecting from or to.
- Attack, scan, probe, or disrupt any network or system, or send spam or bulk unsolicited messages.
- Distribute malware, run botnet command-and-control, or facilitate credential theft or fraud.
- Infringe others’ intellectual-property or privacy rights.
- Circumvent our fair-use limits, abuse defenses, or per-device restrictions, or resell the service.
- Harm minors in any way.
Peers on our network are isolated from one another by design; attempting to reach other users’ devices through the tunnel is prohibited.
4. Fair use and abuse enforcement
Because the free tier has no data charge, we apply fair-use limits (including per-connection speed shaping and daily soft/hard data caps) and automated abuse defenses so that a small number of accounts cannot degrade the network for everyone. We may throttle, suspend, or terminate accounts that breach these terms or trigger our abuse defenses, and we may act on valid abuse reports.
5. Privacy
Our handling of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms. In short: we do not log your browsing, DNS queries, or the destinations you connect to.
6. No warranty
OllaVPN is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. A VPN reduces certain privacy risks; it is not a guarantee of anonymity or security, and you remain responsible for your own conduct online.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OllaVPN and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
8. Termination
You may stop using OllaVPN and delete your account at any time from your dashboard. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, to protect the network or other users, or if required by law.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. We will post material changes on this page; continuing to use OllaVPN after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which OllaVPN is operated, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer protections of your place of residence.
